Do you blog for points or profit?
When I first started I knew what I wanted to get out of AR. LEADS- I was in this strictly for the money. $$$
Organic leads that what I wanted and blogging is the best way to get them so I heard.
I hired a PR company to assist last year. That didn't work out. I was going to have someone else write for me, effectivly creating me on the web.
Show me the money google...
Many people find having a featured spot for a city or county as the goal, I did!
More exposure equals more leads.
It never dawned on me that I would learn more about real estate in two months then I did the past three years combined. I didn't realize that someone would actually take out the stops and share "how to do this better" most classes I've taken, agents I spoke to all had one thing in common.
Money, felt most wanted me to fail. Why? because I'm in there market. Not here at AR. I've called a number of members and found that they were more then willing to share, emailing me forms, calling me back with tips and of course blogging. Surprised!
If I never created a lead from the rain I'd still be a big winner because of what I've learned. It has already equated to money in my pocket with deals I'm working on.
The points are a direct correlation to how much a member is willing to share, it also tells you how smart about the Internet the other member is. You can't help but learn and improve your knowledge about marketing in the future. Don't get me wrong I still want the leads (I'm still working on that!) but I found the knowledge a very valuable part and I get points for it at the same time.
